between us? your period has terrible timing.

here's what it costs you

7 years of missed intimacy...

...if you skip sex on your period. yeah. seriously, we thought that was pretty insane too.

based on our girl math: 38 years (avg menstruating lifespan) * 13 (avg cycles per year) * 5 (avg number of bleeding days per cycle) = 2,470 days menstruating... or nearly 7 years.

take it back

it's the mess.

70% of women avoid period sex because of the mess.

give me better

we’ve all been there

hi, i'm anna!

for years, i was fed up: intimacy ended as soon as my period started.

the old beach towel, the inevitably stained sheets. and forget about spontaneity.

on a deeper level... i felt an implicit shame and awkwardness i couldn't shake. no matter how comfortable i was with my own body.

and for nearly a decade, i've heard the same thing from girlfriends:

“I canceled my date because I was on my period”

so, i built cherry.

our first product is a single-use, disposable disc so you can have mess-free period sex.

no strings attached. literally.

no towel, no logistics, and no conversation you don't want to have.

just the good part.

xoxo, anna

the cherry disc

the cherry disc

designed for clean, confident intimacy on your period

ships late summer 2026

the disposable disc intentionally designed for intimacy

  • soft, flexible material
  • single-use + disposable
  • designed to sit securely during intimacy for a mess-free experience
benefits

cherry is intentionally designed for intimacy on your period.

we're reimagining the whole experience so you have cleaner, more comfortable intimacy while you're on your period. so it's only messy where it matters...

leak protection — if you pop your cherry in right before intimacy, you will meaningful reduce the risk of leakage. and if you're using it to just go about your day? enjoy 12 hours of protection.

hands-free & stays put — sits behind your pubic bone for a secure, fully sealed fit during sex.

no strings attached — sits inside of you and is often completely undetectable to your partner.

soft & flexible — made from medical-grade materials that flex with your body for all-day comfort.

single-use & disposable — no washing, no re-insertion. use it, toss it.

body-safe — free from BPA, phthalates, latex, artificial dyes, fragrances, and fillers.

cherry is in development and not yet commercially available. any references to expected launch timing, including summer 2026, are estimates only and subject to change without notice

how to use

1. wash your hands — always start with clean hands (duhhh).

2. pinch & fold — pinch the rim of the disc flat, then fold it in half to create a figure-8 shape.

3. insert at a downward angle — aim toward your tailbone (not straight up). slide it back until the front rim tucks behind your pubic bone.

4. check the fit — run your finger around the rim to make sure it's fully sealed. you shouldn't feel it when it's in correctly.

5. wear for up to 12 hours — if using the disc for intimacy, we recommend inserting it within an hour or two before the fun begins. this will minimize risk of leakage.

6. remove with a finger hook — hook your finger under the front rim and tilt the disc toward the toilet bowl or shower floor as you pull it out to avoid niagra falls.

7. dispose and repeat — dump the period blood (toilet, shower, or... wherever you want to, i guess!). you can wrap it in the pouch provided or in a bit of toilet paper and discard. each disc is single-use only.

3rd party testing and certifications

the cherry disc is tested and certified to the highest standards in medical device safety and sexual wellness.

upon launching the disc for commercial availability, cherry will be:

FDA-registered — registered with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration as a Class II medical device.

ISO 10993 biocompatibility tested — materials tested for cytotoxicity, sensitisation, and intracutaneous reactivity to confirm body-safe use.

leakage & capacity testing — independently validated to hold flow securely for up to 12 hours under standardized pressure testing protocols.

no harmful extractables — third-party lab verified free from BPA, phthalates, latex, heavy metals, and other restricted substances per ISO 18562.

too good to be true. i was wrong

intimacy i thought i had to give up

"with unpredictable periods, intimacy has been missed and is so tough to give up. having an option to connect with my partner in this way while on yet another period is amazing."

Simla S

kind of embarrassed it took me this long

"i've been skipping sex during my period for years. i didn't know this was an option... and now i won't go back to that unsexy beach towel i've had since middle school."

wait, i can use it for that??

"it didn't even ever occur to me that I could use disc for period sex!"

your period. your call.

no complicated setup. no mood-killing instructions.

want to see it in action? anna walks you through it all: insertion, fun, and removal! qr code in the box

you probably have some questions.

can you have sex while wearing it?

yes. that's kind of the whole point ;)

how do i insert it?

fold it, insert it like a tampon and go past your pubic bone. tuck the rim behind it.

it looks and sounds way more complicated than it is. there's a founder walkthrough video in every box if you want to see it in action first. we also have a lot of videos on our IG and TikTok!

when should i insert it before sex?

the timing depends less on the clock and more on how full the disc is. a full disc can leak under pressure during sex.

the safe move is to insert a fresh one close to when things are likely to happen.

on a heavy day, within an hour is ideal. on a medium or lighter day, a couple hours out is fine (like when you're getting ready for your hot date).

will it leak?

when it's inserted correctly, it sits above the vaginal canal and creates a suction-free seal.

so, no. the only variable is placement, which gets easier every time.

will my partner feel it?

most people say no. it sits much higher up than a tampon or cup, so there's nothing in the way.

a small number of partners notice something, but nothing that's been a dealbreaker ;)
